Las Colinas Overview


Las Colinas plays an integral role in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. Located in Irving, its central location between Dallas and Fort Worth give it a unique advantage. The accessibility to Love Field and DFW airports have increased the tourism and business traffic within the area. Recently, Las Colinas has experienced interest from major technology companies. Dallas News reported developers are close to breaking ground on Verizon and KDC’s $1 billion Hidden Ridge development in Las Colinas. This property will include class A space, hotels, apartments, and retail.

Las Colinas is not exclusively Class A space, though. The subdistrict is also home to Las Colinas Country club, which has hosted the Byron Nelson PGA golf tournament for the past 35 years. In addition to this, the Music Factory has begun to come to life. This project in Las Colinas will include 250,000 ft2 of entertainment, shops, and restaurants. The center focus of the project is the 8,000-seat amphitheater, which will be sponsored by Live Nation. This venue plans to host several concerts within the first year of opening.
