East LBJ Overview


East LBJ is a submarket of Dallas, located between the Central Expressway and the North Tollway. The area extends as far north as I-635. A distinguished market, new construction in the past few years has been scarce; however, there was no shortage of significant leasing transactions. One of these was a 125,000 ft2 + building by Watermark Church.

As stated earlier, new commercial construction in East LBJ has been stagnant; however, the area is developing in other ways. In fact, TxDOT introduced a plan to upgrade Interstate 635. The plan includes an upgrade to an 11 mile stretch of pavement, as well as more accessible frontage roads.
