Renting Retail Space in Downtown LA

Downtown Los Angeles is more than just an impressive skyline. It’s a symbol for the economic strength that courses throughout the Southland and a diversity that is sweeping through much of Southern California. Downtown LA is equal parts financial powerhouse and eclectic personality, and companies from a variety of industries are already using that potent mix to their advantage.

A centralized location sitting between several major freeways is a key benefit to working in the Downtown area. The Santa Monica and Golden State Freeways as well as the 101 and 110 either cut through Downtown or border it. Employees also have convenient access to the Metro light rail system that connects Downtown west to Santa Monica, north into the Valley, east past Pasadena, and south past Century Blvd near Inglewood. Bike sharing programs are gaining in popularity amongst the millennial segment of the workforce as well.

Downtown’s many amenities are another powerful tool to attract talent into the area. Restaurants ranging from world-class fine dining to local comfort food favorites are either in Downtown or nearby. The Arts District features several galleries and exhibits while Little Tokyo is considered one of LA’s real jewels with authentic Japanese cuisine and unique shopping experiences.

Nearby MacArthur Park gives employees access to green space and is often used for location shooting in movies and television. Elysian Park just north of Chinatown also provides hiking trails, recreational facilities, and jogging paths. The Staples Center and Dodger Stadium host several sporting and special events throughout the year while LA Live is a sprawling entertainment complex with concerts, restaurants, shopping, and more.
