Makenna is a native Nevadan who grew up in Reno, graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance. While completing her degree, she was a member of the College of Business Committee. During her education, Makenna had an internship with a local Commercial Brokerage, where she was a marketing specialist to the Senior Vice President. She furthered her career in the commercial real estate arena, while working for a local brokerage house such as SVN International and Cushman & Wakefield. She has developed knowledge in all areas of asset management, acquisitions, leasing, and investments. Makenna currently sits as the Chair of Developing Leaders for her local NAIOP Chapter (National Association of Industrial Office People). She is passionate about advocating for the further development in her Hometown and creating education for young professionals entering the Commercial Real Estate industry.
Makenna continues to represent occupiers in the Northern Nevada Industrial market and continues to build relationships with those who work in her beloved Hometown. Her passion aligns with creating long lasting relationships with her clients in order to further their business needs and growth.
As a Reno/Tahoe native, Makenna is an avid outdoors enthusiast. During her free time, she likes to hike, ski, find new adventure spots in the Lake Tahoe area, and spend time with her family and friends.
