Julia Ly

The path that Julia took to Real Estate took many turns. She started as a biochemist retrofitting equipment on coal power plants and later turned to mechanical engineering in the oil field. There she worked a rotation that allowed her to experience multiple roles in quality assurance, warehouse management, engineering design, shop work, installations offshore, and equipment refurbishment. Her biggest role was being a part of a skeleton crew supporting offshore projects at the port alongside the customers. She was able to work on almost every tool available and the two largest equipment offered by the company. Julia took a turn and managed her family business - working front of house, back of house, and all the managerial roles that come with a restaurant. As the restaurant started the franchising process, she turned to something she has always wanted to do.

Her journey into Real Estate is a culmination of these unique experiences combining analytics, managerial and communication skills. She has quickly earned the trust of her clients and has been a part of and closed a number of complicated transactions with local businesses. She aspires to venture into more intricate assignments, with a wider array of clients in both the commercial as well as the residential market.

Julia has two Bachelor of Science degrees: One in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin and a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas, San Antonio.
