John Freese began his real estate career with The Lyons
Company, a land syndication firm in Dallas, Texas, back in 1983. In 1990, John Freese & Associates, Inc.
was formed for purposes of acquiring, joint venturing, supervising and managing
real estate partnerships in Texas. These
partnerships ranged from acquisition of undeveloped and developed sites as well
as being equity partners with selective developers in CRE. Freese established himself as a premier
source for equity sourcing, financial structuring, and private placement of CRE
in Texas. While running his firm, Freese
branched out into investment sales representing both Buyers and Sellers in the
acquisition and disposition of CRE in Texas.
During the financial recession of 2008-2013, Freese
established his firm as an advisory to lenders and consulted on market
strategies in core real estate and distressed real estate assets. Freese also worked as a Buyer’s
representative for private wealth clients and real estate investment firms in
acquiring distressed assets from lenders during that period.
Most recently Freese called on his banking background to
broker debt placement and refinancing in the traditional and conduit
markets. This diverse background and
experience is called upon in creating a robust and competitive Investment Sales
Division at Retail Solutions.
Freese is a Texas Real Estate Broker since 1990 and is a
member of North Texas Commercial Realtors, ICSC, Greater Metro-Multiple
Listings Service, Dallas Real Estate Professionals, REO Professionals and The
Real Estate Networking Group.
