Anchored by the inconic SkySong shade structure, it is built around a densely landscaped grand boulevard lined by groundfloor shops and restaurants with offices above. SkySong will served the needs of businesses, research and technology industry and academia while building vital networks between university innovations, regional progress and the global technology industry.

This building is registered with the U.S. Green Building Council and is seeking LEED certification.

In 2009, this building was awarded LEED certification at the Silver level by the U.S. Green Building Council.

This building was awarded an Energy Star label in 2009 for its operating efficiency.
