The Allapattah neighborhood is defined as being south of Airport Expressway (SR 112), north of Northwest North River Drive / Miami River and Dolphin Expressway (SR 836), west of I-95, and east of Northwest 27th Avenue. The neighborhood is centrally located in Miami-Dade County and has good access to Airport Expressway, I-95 and Dolphin Expressway. North/south primary roads include Northwest 7th Avenue (US 441 or SR 7), Northwest 12th Avenue, Northwest 22nd Avenue, and Northwest 27th Avenue (SR 9).
