Derek Savage

Derek, an Austin native who now splits his time between Austin and Houston. He started over 9 years ago as a landlord representative and asset manager before moving on to represent a REIT (real estate investment trust) portfolio of 2.1 million square feet spread over 30 properties. After years of representing landlords, Derek decided to take what he learned on the landlord’s side and use it to help tenants and buyers get the best deals possible.

Derek works with clients all over central and east Texas who are looking to lease or purchase office, retail, industrial, or income-producing property, as well as development land.

When Derek is not working, he enjoys spending time at his family’s ranch outside of Austin riding horses, running, and playing guitar.

He is a member of the Urban Land Institute and Commercial Brokers Association of Austin.
